If there’s one thing I could say to Nestle right now, it would be, “Thank you.”

Thank you for officially introducing Kitkat Green Tea to the Philippines.

Thank you for shining the spotlight on green tea itself.

Thank you for proving that green tea is more than just a drink. It’s a powerful and flavorful culinary ingredient, too.

Thank you for giving us a taste on how delicious it is.

Thank you for not stopping there.

The subtle flavor of green tea comes through and the sweetness is just right. It blends well with the taste of chocolate, and the Kitkat wafer plus the crunchy sugar cone gives it texture.

However, I noticed that the ice cream melts rather quickly. It’s not a deal breaker but I do wish the melting rate could be slower.

Price and Calories

Kitkat Green Tea Ice Cream is sold at P47 per piece and each packs 195 calories. If you want one, you can get it at Mercury Drugstores. Right now, Kitkat Green Tea Ice Cream is exclusively sold at Mercury branches. I hope it would be available at major supermarkets soon to make it more accessible to us green tea lovers.
